Service Description

SOMA Breathwork & Meditation – Extended Experience This extended two-hour guided experience is designed to help you reset your body and mind through movement, breath, sound and music. You breathe around 25,000 times every day, yet most of us breathe unconsciously, often shallowly and inefficiently as stress and modern life take over. When you begin to work with your breath intentionally, things can start to change. In this session we begin with gentle somatic movement to release tension, loosen the body and prepare for deeper breathing. Next, we'll explore diaphragm health, learning how to strengthen and reconnect with your primary breathing muscle, supporting posture, breathing efficiency and nervous system regulation. We'll then move into guided chanting, using vibration and sound to stimulate the vagus nerve, calm the mind, deepen relaxation and prepare the body for the breath journey ahead. Finally, you'll be guided through an immersive SOMA Breath journey using individual wireless headsets. Together we'll complete seven rounds of conscious connected breathing and breath holds, focusing on each of the seven energy centres (chakras) to encourage a sense of balance while connecting mind, body and spirit. These evidence-informed breathing techniques may help to: • Improve breathing efficiency and respiratory health • Support nervous system regulation • Build resilience through intermittent hypoxia • Improve focus, energy and mental clarity • Reduce stress and anxiety • Promote relaxation and better sleep • Strengthen emotional resilience • Deepen the connection between mind, body and breath Whether you're completely new to breathwork or have practised before, everything is fully guided and you are encouraged to work comfortably within your own limits. Breathing is more than something we do automatically, it is a skill that can be developed and a powerful tool to support both physical and mental wellbeing.
